If you enjoy FSR Fun Runs, we have a treat for you.... a weekend of them!
Join your First Settlers Region friends for a weekend in Waynesboro with a day and a half of Fun Runs through the twisties of western Virgina from 15-17 July.
We'll arrive at the host hotel (Holiday Inn Express Waynesboro) on Friday, 15 July, where check-in will be 7-9PM. This will be the starting point for both Saturday and Sunday Fun Runs.
On Saturday, we'll drive west over three mountain ranges to Monterey, VA for lunch, then south to Warm Springs and back to Waynesboro, stopping at the beautiful Goshen Pass. If you want even more twisties, there is a longer Blue Ridge Parkway option to get back to the hotel. In the eveing, we'll enjoy a great meal at the Edelweiss German Restaurant.
On Sunday, we'll head out for another half day of twisties, ending up at Tom Godfrey’s home at Wintergreen for a catered lunch. We'll head home after that.
We have room for 16 cars. Event cost is $50 per person, which includes a German dinner Saturday night and Sunday lunch. Pay as you go expenses will be your hotel room, German dinner bar tab, and lunch Saturday.
