Join your FSR friends on Saturday, October 17th for a Gimmick Rally to the Rappahannock River.... while teasing your brain as you search for clues along the route! The Rally to the River will end at the beautiful riverfront home of members Robin and Gary Tyer in Water View, VA.

This self-guided event will start at Euroclassics Porsche in Midlothian (11900 Midlothian Tpke). You will be given driving directions and a list of clues to look for along the way.  Leave on your own or in a small group with friends. Drive at your own pace and enjoy a leisurely ride. You'll miss clues if you drive too fast, so be sure to follow the rules.

Show time at Euroclassics is 9:30AM.  After waiver signing (please bring your signed CDE Waiver if you have yet to submit one at another event), navigation packages will be distributed. Packages will also contain the safety brief, so there will be no traditional group Driver's Meeting.  If you're driving solo, feel free to skip the clues and just enjoy the route. Departure times will then be at your convenience (recommend departing by 10AM) to arrive at the Tyer's (address will be provided later) around 1PM for a BYO (bring your own) picnic lunch.  After lunch, we'll recognize our new members in attendance and present rally awards. Recommend bringing lawn chairs or a blanket and some bug spray in case in case the critters don't know that summer is over.

Note: IF YOU'RE BRINGING ONE CAR, PLEASE REGISTER EVERYONE IN YOUR PARTY ON THE SAME REGISTRATION WITH THAT CAR. IF YOU REGISTER SEPARATELY, IT IMPLIES THAT YOU'RE EACH BRINGING A CAR.

With prevention in mind and to comply with government health rules, we have revised our Fun Run procedures. Our objective is to systematically reduce the risk of virus infection while still enjoying our cars and each other's company. An FSR working group has carefully examined the most recent Virginia COVID-19 guidelines as well as PCA National guidance in producing these event procedures. Please read the FSR COVID-19 Safety Ground Rules on the next page. You also will be required to acknowledge the PCA Communicable Disease Exposure Waiver before registering, which must be hard copy signed and brought to the event. While this seems legalistic, all this is required to conduct any club event during the pandemic. Our procedures will also be reviewed by PCA National prior to issuance of a certificate of insurance.

Event conduct and requirements are as follows. PLEASE READ:

• If you feel ill or are sick or have a temperature of 100.4 or greater, please stay home. If you become sick at the event, you will be asked to immediately leave.
• Please bring masks, an ink pen and gloves/hand sanitizer with you for all participants in your car.
• If you have yet to submit one at a previous event, please complete and sign the PCA Communicable Disease Exposure (CDE) Waiver for EACH PARTICIPANT before leaving home and bring it to the event. You can download the CDE Waiver at:  PCACommunicableDiseaseWaiver202005281.pdf 
• Completed forms will be collected during check-in. Those who have already submitted this waiver will be on our master list, so no need to bring another.
• During check-in, all event team members will wear masks and use hand sanitizer. We will ask them to check their temperature that day before leaving home. The check-in area will be sanitized before we start.
• Check-in will start at 9:30AM at Euroclassics Porsche. You are asked to stay with your car until a free space is open at the check-in table. Observe six-foot social distancing throughout the event. When you are not with your car, please wear a mask.
• Registration will first start with a hand sanitizing station that everyone must use.
• Each participant will need to submit their completed PCA CDE Waiver or confirm a waiver is on file. Next, everyone must sign the usual PCA Event Insurance Waiver.  
• Finally each car will get a set of instructions for the rally. You can depart on your own when you're ready.  There will be a safety briefing in each package, so we will not hold a traditional Drivers' Meeting.
• The Rally ends upon arrival at the Tyer's home in Water View.
• There is no cost for this event.
• The route will take about 3 hours and there are bio-break opportunities along the way.
• You are reminded to maintain social distancing.  
• Again, we cannot stress the need for each person to assess their own personal risk of infection. If you feel sick or have a temperature, stay home. If you feel these preparations and procedures are inadequate, please stay home.
