Run/Work

SCCA Solo is a cooperative event in order to keep costs as low as possible. Entrants will be separated into Run and Work Groups, and during the event day those groups will swap roles when the number of runs per group has been reached. In other words, all entrants will be required to work an assigned duty at the event either before or after they have driven their competition runs. . Lateness may be taken as a no-show and deletion of timed results or awards. Special administrative work duties may be assigned to Chiefs before the event, and all other workers are to report to the Solo Bus or Admin Tent at the start of a Run/Work Group.

Special accommodations to run and/or work early to leave before the event has completed cannot be accommodated. Solo events may run into the mid to late afternoon, and competitors should make plans to stay at the event until it has completed. Run/Work Groups will be assigned after Registration has closed for the day.

Work assignments will be completed by the Chief of Workers.

Run/work assignments will be pre-assigned based on the entry list, and in a manner that balances heat sizes and worker coverage. Workers should be ready to report for work before their heat begins. Heat change overs will be brief. Please listen for announcements made by the Chief of Workers and be on time for your work assignment. Lateness may be taken as a no-show and result in disqualification.

Food & Drink

There are no food or drink vendors on-site at the Grissom Solo location, and the Region does not have a water source at the Grissom Solo site. Treat Grissom events as a primitive camping experience, and please bring your own food, water, refreshments, sunblock lotion...any supplies you may need during the day. There are 2 quick mart gas stations off site, within a 5 minute drive of the Solo location.

Contingency Award Details - Eligibility Requirements (starting with June 21st Points #3 event) :

To be eligible for any Vitour contingency award, the vehicle must have:

Vitour Tires on all four positions for all scored runs.
Vitour advertising decal stickers, consisting of:
- A VitourP1.com front or rear windshield banner, OR
- VitourP1.com or Vitour Performance Tires fender decals over the front bumper and front wheel arches; 3 decals total.

No competing tire manufacturer stickers may be displayed on the vehicle

A minimum of 5 cars in a class is required for class awards.

Vitour Top Finisher: The highest-placing car in a class running Vitour tires receives $100 in VitourP1.com product credit, regardless of finishing position.
Podium Awards:
- 1st Place: $100 product credit
- 2nd Place: $50 product credit
- 3rd Place: $50 product credit
Additional Awards:
- Top 3 PAX finishers on Vitour tires: $100 product credit each
- Top 3 Raw time finishers on Vitour tires: $100 product credit each

Class
Make and Model of the car
Tire size(s) used
Number of participants in class (if applying for class award)
Your finishing position in class, PAX, and/or raw (as applicable)
For Time Trials lap record award, include your fastest lap time
