If you're interested in organizing a Fun Run or Tour for your FSR friends, here's your opportunity to learn from the FSR Tour Chair himself, Ed Merry.
Purpose: Build an FSR cadre of members trained to plan and safely conduct Fun Runs and Tours IAW PCA guidelines.
When: Saturday, 1 Feb 2020 from 1015-1130 AM (Snow date 7 March) - after the Williamsburg Breakfast.
Where: Victoria’s Restaurant, 5269 John Tyler Hwy, Williamsburg, VA.
Cost: $41 per entrant.
Limits: 7 entrants. (Expect a waiting list, this limit is for number of map books to highlight, takes about 3 hours to highlight one map book)
What $41 gets you:
- Each entrant will get a HIGHLIGHTED Large VA map book with all Ed’s Twisty roads identified.
- A flash drive with templates, checklists, PCA guidelines, plus at least 6 recent Fun Run/Tour packages (cover notes, maps and route instructions)
- Loose leaf notebook with planning structure, Drivers’ Meeting notes, PCA guidelines, checklists for event leader, group leaders and sweepers, plus several route packages that we can discuss..
- Copies of PCA waivers and examples of insurance coverage.
- Wrist bands of several colors for up to 40 cars and 70 people.
Note: This is NOT a driving event as the training will take place in Victoria’s Restaurant after the usual Williamsburg Breakfast.
