Ready to test your precision without the stress of navigational traps? Grab a navigator, pack your favorite playlist, and join us for "Not My Fault" – an SCCA Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) Tour Rally that traces the breathtaking scenery of the infamous San Andreas fault line.
Whether you're chasing points for the Southern California Road Rally Championship or just looking for a fun Saturday drive, this is the perfect event for rookies and veterans alike.
🚗 Event Details
- Date: Saturday, July 11th, 2026
- Total Distance: Approximately 120 miles of scenic, winding roads.
- The Route: A beautiful Tour rally (no tricks or traps!) following the fault line, with scheduled breaks in Acton and Palmdale.
⏱️ Schedule of Events
- 8:30 AM – Registration Opens
- 9:30 AM – Competitor Meeting
- 10:01 AM – First Car Out
- ~1:30 PM – Finish line celebrations, scoring, and storytelling.
📍 Locations
- Starting Line: Bodhi Leaf Coffee Traders (26910 Sierra Hwy Unit D-2, Santa Clarita, CA 91321). Registration will be outside, but grab a coffee and a pastry to enjoy while you review the Route Instructions.
- Finish Line: La Cabana Mexican Restaurant (2370 Soledad Canyon Rd, Acton, CA 93510). Join us for post-rally tacos, drinks, and results.
🛠️ What You Need to Play
You don't need a built racecar or a math degree to enjoy this rally. The entry requirements are simple:
- A street-legal vehicle (any car, truck, or SUV in good working order).
- A two-person team (one driver, one navigator).
- A cell phone (to run the GPS timing and scoring app)
This rally uses the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring. The app is FREE and easy to use on any GPS-enabled smartphone. Go to the App Store or Google Play Store, or https://richtarally.com/. There is no need for additional timing equipment or clocks - your Official Time shows in the app!

Event requirements
- One person per vehicle must be an SCCA member - you can purchase a weekend membership as part of registration if you are not a full member
- Everyone in the vehicle must sign a waiver (including passengers)
- If anyone in the car is a minor, they are required IN ADVANCE to complete the online minor waiver, and their parents/guardians are required to complete the parental consent forms. Go to https://my.scca.com/eweb/DynamicPage.aspx?WebCode=CSCCertificationList&pager=10 to complete these requirements.
- Vehicles must be street-legal, registered, and insured
- Drivers must have a current driver's license.
