About this event
Please join your First Settlers and Shenandoah Region friends for a Saturday of fun and camaraderie at our annual Turkeys in the Trunk - West charity event at Euroclassics Automotive Detailing in Midlothian on Saturday, 22 November 2025.
***For folks in the Eastern part of our Region who would like to participate in Turkeys in the Trunk - East, supporting the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, register HERE.
In Richmond, we'll be supporting Feed More, an organization that helps provide food for those in need throughout Central Virginia. So, fill your frunk, trunk, roof rack, passenger foot well.... wherever, with frozen turkeys, canned vegetables, yams, and the rest of the fixings for a Thanksgiving meal. Don’t forget to leave room for your passenger, but tell them to pack lightly!
Then head over to Euroclassics Detailing facility at 11AM, which is accross the street from the dealership (11788 Concrete Place, Midlothian, VA) for the start of the day.
If you'd like to make a monetary donation in addition to or in lieu of a food donation, please make your check out to Feed More and their representatives will be on site to collect everything. If you can't make it but still want to donate, email Jenny Kay for mailing instructions, jenny@jacobkay.net.
We'll hang out and enjoy refreshments until the Safety Meeting at 12:30PM.
After the Safety Meeting, we’ll head out on a short Fun Run to Fine Creek Brewing Company (2425 Robert E Lee Rd, Powhatan, VA), arriving around 2PM. Food/beverages there will be pay as you go.
Like all of our events, we can't do this without volunteers. If you'd like to help out with setup, parking or the sign-in table, please sign-up for that on the registration page.
The best part of these events is giving back to the community, driving our favorite cars and finishing the day socializing with great friends! We hope to see you there!
Please note: The goal of this donation effort is to collect frozen turkeys, non-perishable food items and monetary donations. Ideally, the food donated at the event can be turned into a fairly typical Thanksgiving meal for a person or family in need. The donated food is packed in boxes by volunteers for distribution before Thanksgiving. So, please consider this should you be donating food.
Event requirements
We will be using Speedwaiver to complete the PCA Insurance Waiver process. You'll receive the link on the confirmation page and in the confirmation email, so be looking out for that and please complete it right after you register. The same goes for your passenger(s).
All attendees must sign, so if you have guests on your registration, please provide them the link so that they can sign as well. The PCA Event Waiver must be signed in advance through the SpeedWaiver system.
