**NOTE: We've had such a great response to this event that the Fun Run/Lunch portion of is full. You can sign up, but you'll be put on the waiting list until someone cancels and opens up a spot. If that happens, you'll get an email notification that you're in.
Join your First Settlers Region friends for our first fun run of the year on 20 April 2019 from Windsor, VA to the home of retired Vice Admiral Dave Architzel, where we'll tour his working scale train collection. On the way, we'll stop for lunch at Smithfield Station in Smithfield. This is a rain or shine event.

We'll meet at the Burger King at the intersection of US 258 at US 460 between 9:00-9:30 AM (59 West Windsor Blvd (460), Windsor, VA).
After waiver signing and a driver's meeting at 9:45AM, we'll head out for a scenic 70 minute drive on some twisty roads in Isle of Wight and Surry Counties. Ed Merry, First Settlers' official "master of the twisty road," is planning the route.
The first stop, around 11:30AM, will be for lunch at Smithfield Station, 415 S. Church St in Smithfield. We'll then head out around 12:45PM and drive another 10 miles to the train collection tour in Suffolk.
There is no charge for the fun run or train tour, however, lunch at Smithfield Station and provisions for the road will be pay as you go.
