Join your First Settlers Region friends for a summertime Fun Run on Saturday, June 15th ending at the Blue Crab in West Point for lunch.
We'll meet at the McDonald's at the intersection of US 33 and Lee Street (432 14th St, West Point, VA) between 8:45 and 9:15AM. The McDonald's shares a lot with a Dollar Tree and an ABC store, so there's plenty of parking.
After waiver signing and the Drivers Meeting at 9:15, we will head out for a scenic 3-hour drive through King William, King and Queen, Caroline and Sussex counties, ending at The Blue Crab (620 Main Street, West Point) for lunch. For your comfort, we'll have two restroom stops along the way. Jim Hamel is planning the route under Fun Run Meister Ed Merry's tutelage, so this will surely be an enjoyable drive.
The cost for lunch is $19 per person (pre-paid when you register for the event here), which includes your menu selection, beverages (water, tea, soft drinks) and gratuity. Dessert and your bar tab will be pay-as-you-go. Menu selections are as follows. Please make your selection on the registration page so the restaurant can prepare.
- Crab Cake Sandwich served with Potato Salad or Sweet Potato Fries
- Fried Flounder served with Potato Salad or Sweet Potato Fries
- Fried Chicken Salad
