Join your First Settlers Region friends for a beginners level Time, Speed, Distance (TSD) Rally. The route is approximately 90 miles, beginning west of Richmond in Glen Allen and ending at the historic Hanover Tavern for lunch.
The basic objective of a TSD rally is to follow a course to the precise detail specified in the instructions and rules. TSD Rallies dictate a certain schedule for checkpoints along the way and points are deducted for arriving at the checkpoint early or late. They're a fun way to challenge driver and navigator while enjoying your Porsche.
Entrants should arrive at the Shell Station / 7-11, Aw Shucks Country Store at 6100 Pouncey Tract Rd in Glen Allen Va 23059 by 9:30AM. We will assemble in the lot behind the store. The first car will depart on the rally at 10:01.
The rally will end at the Hanover Tavern (13181 Hanover Courthouse Rd (US Rt 301), Hanover, VA 23069) for lunch.
We have room for 25 cars and the Tavern can accomodate 50 for lunch. If you prefer to skip lunch, please make that choice when you register.
Please be advised that PCA rules dictate that all cars participating in a TSD Rally must have a driver and navigator. Normally, anyone in the car during a rally must be at least 16 years old, but as part of the Junior Participation Program, 13 to 17-year-old sons, daughters, nephews, nieces, step-children or grandchildren of PCA members are allowed to participate in TSD Rallies as the navigator, so consider a multigenerational team.
There is nominal $5 fee per car for the Rally. Your lunch tab will be pay as you go.
